Great River Road Golf
Club, carved out of the bluffs overlooking the Mighty
Mississippi, has a tremendous scenic value. It's 18
holes, fully irrigated, provide the golfer with a wide
variety of golf shots.
The front nine, built in the late 1960's, is a good warm
up for the challenge that awaits you on the back nine.
The back nine, built in the early 1990's, plays down
into the valley. Breathtaking elevation changes of 160
feet greet the golfer on a number of holes.
Larry's Creek runs along the back nine and provides the
back drop for the signature hole: A 370 yard par four
that requires an approach shot to an island green.
